This page explains how to request deletion of your Chored account and the data associated with it. Chored is developed by Hybrid Aero Tech.
How to Request Deletion
Option 1 — In the app or web dashboard
- Sign in to your account (web dashboard at chored.ai, iOS app, or Android app).
- Go to Settings.
- Select Delete account.
- Re-enter your password to confirm.
Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Email us
If you can't sign in, email support@chored.ai from the address associated with your account and request deletion. We verify the request and delete the account within the timeframe required by applicable law.
What Gets Deleted
Deleting your account permanently deletes your entire family record and everything tied to it, including:
- Your login and all family members' profiles (names, phone numbers, birthdates)
- Chores, schedules, busy blocks, and weekly templates
- Wallet/allowance balances and transaction history
- Car booking history
- Workout logs and family memory notes
- SMS message content and AI conversation logs
What Is Retained, and Why
We retain a minimal SMS consent record — a phone number and the date consent was given or withdrawn, with no message content — as required proof of opt-in/opt-out under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). This record is not linked to any of the account data listed above once your account is deleted.
